THE NUMBERS ARE IN!!
Company wide our generous Farmers Alliance patrons and vendors contributed $6320 to feed hungry people in our region. This money will be donated to Feeding America in Sioux Falls, which serves many of our area food banks. In addition, every dollar of those donations will be matched by the CHS corporate office and returned to the local foodbanks in Mitchell and Armour.
During this, our 5th annual Harvest for Hunger, nationwide CHS employees, patrons and vendors have raised $512,000 and 443,000 pounds of food. 100% of all of these donations went directly to feeding hungry people across the nation, and were also matched by CHS corporate.
We would like to send a very big thank you to all who participated for being a part of this worthwhile program. Without your generosity we could not make this happen.
